- I nspire Kenya are a small company based in Ireland where our main office is located. Mat and Catherine who run the office have spent several months volunteering in Kenya and have a great knowledge of the day to day life of being a volunteer. They have organised and funded several projects in deepest Kenya as well as India and Sri Lanka. Both have travelled the world extensively and believe many people want to put something back, but often cant find the outlet. This company therefore goes someway in giving people that opportunity. Unlike some major volunteer companies we don't have sole contracts with our placements. Inspire believe this practice is unethical. It means for example that a children's home has to sign a contract so no other volunteer companies can send people. This practice is clearly in the interest of the company and not the placement. This is a very important point that most volunteers overlook when decided who to use.
