- I was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. I studied for 11 years in the arts of ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, Flamenco, and some ballroom dancing. I taught the dance arts for 17 years in Michigan, North Carolina, and in Berlin, Germany. In Berlin, I had my own school and taught servicemen's children, embassy children, as well as the local nationals. I worked for the German television channel ZDF, providing children for various programs.
