- Swift's blogging software is created by a Bay Area company back in California known by the name of Six Apart , a leader in the personal blogging scene. Their FREE (personal use) product Moveable Type is what I have choosen to employ on my website. I would highly recommend this software package to any other person or group whom is interested in jumping headfirst into the world of web logging (more commonly known as blogging). It was fairly painless to install, has a behemeth of options (though you need not use them all), and plenty of add-ons available for download if you're interested in expanding your site. Not to mention the fact that it's hella easy to link your blog entries with other Six Apart software based blogs like Type Pad and Live Journal. Sweetness!
