HowRude is a Full House fansite that is located at http://howrude.org, with its forums being on ProBoards http://howrude.proboards36.com . It's founding date is unclear, but is probably sometime either on or a couple days before March 6, 2005. Its admin is "fishywishy", a 15-year-old girl from the United States who will not reveal her name to the general public because she is an ISF (Internet Safety Freak, a term coined by fishywishy). BL funded a domain name for the site on November 12, 2005, with fishy changing hosting to the-playground.cc on the 19th, which was changed to Jamie's other site, thatsanderskid.com, on June 5, 2006.
The site was once largely dormant, with no mainstay community outside the forums, but recently this has changed, with the addition of the first coadmin, Paul (who added a significant amount of content in the time he was at HowRude), on May 22, 2006, the addition of the chatrooms, on July 1, 2006, and the standalone fanfiction section, on July 10, 2006. Paul resigned four days after the fanfiction section was allowed for posting, due to disagreements with fishywishy, and Laurie Beth was signed in his place on August 9, 2006.
On October 6, 2006, due to the declining popularity of Jamie and the increasing success of his vNES emulator, the hosting for How Rude was officially severed. GoDaddy Hosting was chosen on October 21, 2006. Fishywishy could not be online as often due to her parents' restrictions as well as schoolwork. Due to Fishy's inactivity, this created serious problems in getting the site back up, and almost none of the actual content of the site was viewable to the public until December 4, 2006, though due to problems with PHP and obnoxious ads, it was only up on GoDaddy for about one week. On December 10, 2006, it was moved to Paul's site, csidevotion.net, where it remains to this day.
Due to the months of downtime, much of the traffic once at the site left. To try to fix it, on December 12, 2006, the Episode Guide Project was started, with users contributing one paragraph episode summaries. It was recieved greatly, and was a spectactular success. The gallery and chatroom also got back online quickly. Due to several software complications, the fanfiction boards were left to the forums once again on December 26.
