Course Summary
The development of the technology to support telemedicine, together with the provision of the data communication systems and networks, has been explosive, outstripping the ability of organisations to recruit personnel with the skills to initiate and manage the introduction of the new technologies involved. This shortage of key staff is felt throughout the healthcare sector and industry in general. This MSc is designed to meet these needs. The objective is to provide the health and industry sectors with people skilled to understand the design, selection, procurement, installation, management, maintenance, and evaluation of telemedicine and e-Health systems appropriate to present and future needs.
This course is designed to meet demand for the people with the skills to deliver and manage the new healthcare delivery now needed within the healthcare sector.
