The Doctors Lounge was founded in April 2000 in South Dakota, USA; when two physicians, Dr. Tamer Fouad, M.D. and Dr. Yasser Mokhtar, M.D., decided to create a free online medical community that provides its visitors with premiere articles that can only be found in a paid service.
The Doctors Lounge content spans 9 medical specialties with over 1,800 pages of up to date medical information. Our content is currently being taught in medical schools worldwide and is part of the student curriculum for medical students in two international medical schools.
