The Hinds County Economic Development District focuses on two ways of bringing more business and adding jobs to the Hinds County community. The District recruits companies that are a part of an existing cluster of businesses to locate in Hinds County and it establishes relationships with existing companies to encourage and assist them in expanding. As a result of these activities, the District is able to enhance the business climate, increase employment opportunities and ultimately enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Hinds County.
