Santa Barbara designer, Laura Lynch has devoted years to the lost art of millinery and has discovered ways to join function and fashion in her hat designs for Laura's Lids and hanna rae designs. Inspired by her degree in history and Czechoslovakian heritage, Laura incorporates select techniques and styles from the millinery trade dating back to the first part of the 20th century. Laura's hats have a softness and quality that only comes from the time consuming process of hand blocking felts and straws. This cannot be attained by today's machine blocked products.
