- About Hack
- I am Hack Albertson, I am a former Marine and I have enjoyed the outdoor’s my whole life. I am also a T9 paraplegic. I started hunting and fishing at a young age with my Grandfather, Hack Frye. I was 7 when he took me rabbit hunting with our beagles and let, or should I say made me carry the rabbits each hunt. I loved the chase with dog’s excited barking to let you know how hot the trail was that they were on. Grandpa got me my first shotgun at 10 and that single shot 20 gauge was the best gift in the world to me. The kick of the gun was awful if shooting targets but when shooting a rabbit or squirrel I learned that I never felt it. The excitement of the hunt and the kill made the kick dissappear completely. I truly miss Grandpa as he passed away a couple of years ago. But not before I got to take him to Canada fishing and help him to kill a couple of nice deer. He was a paratroper in WWII and fought on D Day and the battle of the Bulge. There was never a better role model or mentor, he taught me allot.
