- In 1989, I hooked up with David Barnes and started “It’s Greek To Me”. With a new concept of selling apparel in the college fraternity /sorority market, we traveled around in vans to college campuses all across the U.S., selling our logo’d apparel on the spot. Prior to this our customers placed special orders for their apparel, so we really filled a niche and grew fast the first few years.
