Dr. Eban Goodstein holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan. Dr. Goodstein is the author of a college textbook, Economics and the Environment, (John Wiley and Sons: 2004) now in its fourth edition,

Goodstein’s current research focuses on the economic impacts of global climate change, a subject on which he has spoken widely. Articles by Goodstein have appeared in The Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Land Economics, Ecological Economics, Environmental Management, The Rand Journal of Economics, The Journal of Developing Areas, and The Review of Industrial Organization. His research has been featured in, among other media, The New York Times, Scientific American, Time, Chemical and Engineering News, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Economist, The American Prospect and NPR’s Environment show.
