- Sanyo have introduced the smallest 1080p HiDef camcorder that goes by the name of Xacti DMX-HD1000. Long name, I know, but the camera has some really cool specs. Basically shaped for a pistol grip, it also has a large 10x lens and a whopping 8 GB memory capacity. Thus, with a memory capacity of this magnitude, it is possible to shoot 1080p videos for up to ninety minutes. It uses a MPEG-4 AVC codec and a 1/2.5-inch CMOS sensor that can capture 1,920 x 1,080 resolution videos at a rapid 60fps. The camera is the smallest in its category. The design is very helpful for shooters, both novice and professional. Other features include a 2.7 inch LCD and face recognition for 12 faces.
