As you can tell I am a geek, or at least a self-proclaimed geek. I love all things geek. I have varied interests that range from hiking, backpacking, computers, technology, Unix, Linux, poker, movies, TV, my pets, the list goes on and on. I like to read a lot about technology, and that in part is where Geekster came from. I wanted to start a blog, and why not blog about the things you love to talk about most. Part of my geekiness comes from my large and varied interests. A lot of my friends always wonder where I get the information I have or how I know what I know. Well I just tell them I am a geek who likes to read. I rarly read traditional media anymore. Most of my time spent reading is on the Internet. I still read a few magazines, but that is about it.
