The Gaia/Earthseed symbol merged with the SolSeed Emblem. See SolSeedVesselEmblem for a description of the underlying image I built on.

My addition centers on a version of theta, the ecology symbol; note that the head of the e is nestled inside the g like a baby in the womb, but its tail emerges outward like a sprouting seed. The yin-yang symbol sitting on the third orbital out from Sol simply represents the commingling of human civilization with its natural environment. And the way that second a lies cradled in the cusp of the h (which was really a happy graphic-design accident--thank you, Lucida Handwriting :-) may be explained by saying that having damaged our mother planet, we're going to have to return her favor to us by cradling her back to health. Only after we heal the Earth will we be truly ready to fulfill TheDestiny and plant the seeds of Gaia's children on other worlds.
