Factor is a dynamically typed, stack-based programming language. Stack based programming with Forth had its heyday in the 80's, however since then Forth environments have stagnated in comparison to other languages. Factor is an attempt to modernize Forth by introducing concepts from Common Lisp, Joy, and Slate.
