- After going skiing in the French Alps, and wanting to explore as many resorts as I could, I wondered why people were happy going to only one ski resort for their holiday. There are so many world-class resorts in France that are within easy reach of one another, so I thought about what it was that stopped people from exploring several resorts within a week. Was it the hassle of finding transport to another resort? Or maybe the bother of having to queue up for lift passes at every resort they visited? Or was it something as simple as having to find and book several hotels?
