Ok so its time to get personal. Over a month ago I put in for a promonation to be a Supervisor at the sterling store. At first let me take u back a little more. In the last two months I really have been having problems working at the store. I needed a change, something to keep me working at what I do best. So I heard there was an opening for the same position that I am at my store, at the sterling store. I went to the sterling store and talked to one of the managers due to the Gm was not there. She told me they were looking to fill the spot. So, I talked to the managers and they set me up for an interview. The day of the interview came and I talked to the Gm. She seems cool and I thought I could be a great asset to their team. Well, at the end of the interview she wanted to know why I didn’t fill in a jos which I had no idea I was suppose to know about filling in, even if it was a transfer at the same position. BULLSHIT!! Also she told me she was not interested in any lateral moves from another store. But she told me to look out for any openings that would be coming up. The store was going to make some changes in leadership. I really wanted to take what I knew about sales and leadership to a new store for a new beginning. When I got back to the store after the interview my Gm made me look like an ass in front of some other employees because I didn’t talk to him directly. Even though, I had talked to him earlier that month he said it was ok for me to apply for any position I wanted to. One of the other employees pulled me to the side and told me “did u see in the Gm face how he looked.” He said, “he probably never thought u would want to leave the store.”
