- Digital-Essence started out as a very small, very bad graphics site on geocities in around September of 2004. There were mostly neopet graphics and soon became a little more popular than it was before, but I was still only getting only 16 hits a day. So I got some anime graphics and non-anime graphics that included website layouts with stock photography, some of my hits went down due to this. I decided to affiliate with some anime graphic sites and I got a few applications accepted, things were going moderately well then (for me, getting 40 hits was amazing), and I was happy. My graphics were pretty bad until I got Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for my birthday and my graphics were so much better. I always had the creativity in me, I just couldn't bring it out with PSP8, and because of that people didn't want to affiliate with me. So once I got Adobe I was doing so much better and got more hits and affiliates! My peak in my "career" is when, I think, I affiliated with one of the biggest graphics sites...Daydream Graphics! I was so excited when I got accepted! Special thanks go to Ashley for helping me buy my domain and host from Navigatoris.net. After a long history of problems arising, I decided to make Digital Essence a personal/collective/art site. Sure, it lost many affiliates, popularity, hits, and I still sometimes wish it to be a graphics site again, but I think I like it better the way it is now. Just about me and my artwork.
