- Robert first traveled to the Philippines in 1993 and has traveled throughout the Visayas and Luzon. He retired (for the first time) in 2003 and took up residence in the small fishing village of Longos - Bolitoc, Santa Cruz, Zambales. During 2004 he returned to his profession for an additional year to work on a program in Central America. He retired in November 2005 and returned to his home in the Philippines.
