- C&C3 will take real time strategy gaming to a whole new level, let us explain why. C&C3 will be using an updated version of The Battle for Middle-earth II SAGE Engine. Their goal is to have the fast game play of the original Command and Conquer. We can expect enhanced game mechanics such as fast troop responses, improved pathing(Point A to Point B), improved unit look. Also to be expected are standard game elements such as managing your resources, bases, and units in battle. The GDI and NOD will have the same military strength type characteristics. GDI favors heavy firepower, in your face type frontal assaults, and plenty of up-armoring of vehicles. NOD will continue to use sneaky bastard tactics and their stealth technology.
