- I recently had the immense pleasure of having a 4-month vacation thrust upon me by the random forces of current economics. Since I hadn’t really been saving any money to begin with, this left me in a rather pecarious mode of existence. Thanks to a few loans, I managed to make it through this vaction with my life mostly intact, but not without a few unpleasant side-effects. Namely, my bank account will be permanently overdrawn for a period of several months.
