- Welcome to the Chinese Youth Society website! Chinese Youth Society (CYS) is a volunteering club that is a chapter of Red Cross. In fact, we were the first youth group chapter formed from Red Cross. We have been serving the Houston community for over a decade now, and we are still going strong. However, members in CYS not only help the community, but also learn leadership skills, how to work in a team, and are given a chance to meet new people. For this reason, CYS is not just volunteering club with hour opportunities, it provides a chance for teenagers to grow and build as people.
