- Chenoweth Boer Goats, We would like to take this chance to welcome everybody to Chenoweth Boer Goats of Springfield, Colorado. We are located on the plains in the very southeast corner of Colorado where we started out in the goat business back in 2000. Our operation started out with one buck and 20 does and has grown greatly to 100 does and two bucks to date. We used to raise sheep and looked forward to the change over to the goat world and the wonderful people that are involved in it. After some hard lessons learned in the past years and a lot of time spent we decided to make some drastic changes to our breeding program and after much help and advice from Joe and Nikki Raff we sold most of our starter herd and purchased two TOP QUALITY bucks from them, Out of Bounds and War Paint. With more guidance from some of the top people in the goat industry we decided to purchase some wonderful does from Mike and Susie Kelly. This decision has brought us to the resulting 100 head of fullbloods and high percentage does. We now gear our operation toward producing quality show wethers which we make available to the public at two different production sales which are held in Brush and Springfield Colorado.
