- Last October, we began printing the Depth Sounder in house and in color. We thought this would save money and time. After 12 issues, we are switching back to having the newsletter printed and mailed by a commercial printer. Our printing effort was taking 3 days of Rob’s time, as well as tying up our printer for 3 days. The cost will be the same, but the quality will be better and should get mailed out a few days earlier. I would like to offer my personal thanks to Pat Slaughter and her committee who helped with the mailing process over the past year.
