First take my regards all of you. I look forward to working with you on many issues of concern to us, particularly the issue that brings us here today Peace Protection in Pakistan. We are a Voluntary Grass root Peace NGO. AJT” abbreviation of The Afzal Jahan Memorial Social Welfare Trust International will be a valuable organizing in Pakistan. AJT is a non-profit, non-partisan, public interest organization. Our NGO Registered in 2007 July under the Ministry Pakistan of Social welfare. AJT a peace organization, AJT has frequently carried out projects and program related peace and human rights issue. Working with faith communities and others with parallel interests to educate, advocate, coordinate and empower the larger community in support of peace, human rights, Woman rights, and justice, Anti-Nuclear Campaign , Anti-Nuclear Alliance through AJT dialogue. Only peaceful and democratic means be used in the realisation of our agreed objectives. The creative use of all means of communication be used in the mobilization of public opinion in the pursuit of our objectives. An effective networking with all groups who agree with our objectives and aims be established.

Working with faith communities and others with parallel interests to educate, advocate, coordinate and empower the larger community in support of peace, human rights, Woman rights, and justice through AJT dialogue.Our NGO truly dedicated we work & relationship with your organization. Our organization are making important contributions to international Civil Society. Our NGO always raise its voice against terrorism and injustices on innocent human beings and is utterly against discrimination on the basis of their cast, color, creed, religion, etc.

AJT truly dedicated we work & relationship with your organization. AJT  organization are making important contributions to international peacemaking. The styles of such peacemaking are dependent on the theology and tradition. AJT organization is "to maintain world peace and international security". Given the many crises and conflicts around the world and the new risks and threats to international security posed also by non-state actors, the need for such efforts is no less pressing today than in the past. Share information with everyone. 

People have to learn new ways of thinking and working together. AJT is organized to promote and sustain Citizen awareness, participation, and action to prevent war and achieve peace, and shall dedicate these efforts to maintain security, preserve and safeguard constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, justice, and civil rights, as well as dignified life for all humanity. The styles of such peacemaking are dependent on the theology and tradition. We are building a global community of activists through this process, come to identify themselves as peace-builders and take home to their home countries the skills, attitude and knowledge and use it in the organizations in which they work.

We help support scholarly, and programmatic initiatives that promote the development and dissemination of information regarding. The effects of contemporary international armed conflicts on women and girls; and/or International, national, regional, or local non-governmental or grassroots’ is organized to promote and sustain Citizen awareness, participation, and action to prevent war and achieve peace, and shall dedicate these efforts to maintain security, preserve and safeguard constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, justice, and civil rights, as well as dignified life for all humanity.

Enhancing the leadership, management and advocacy skills of women ensures that they are able to effectively participate in and shape peace processes and post-conflict reconstruction. Their involvement improves stability, ensures accountability and helps create a more just and equitable post conflict society.

Equally important will be the emphasis on the role of women as leaders in peace-building processes. Promoting the implementation of these mandates at this year’s observance of International critical importance.promoting the intercultural dialogue, in a spirit of solidarity and respect for all creators in the area. The work of NGOs, both national and international, remains crucial to the implementation of international agreements on women and peace. Protecting women from conflicts and violence will remain a priority for the international community. Enhancing the leadership, management and advocacy skills of women ensures that they are able to effectively participate in and shape peace processes and post-conflict reconstruction. Their involvement improves stability, ensures accountability and helps create a more just and equitable post conflict society.

Towards a Nuclear-Weapon-Free World: The Need For a New Agenda

Today we continue to lobby, educate, and join others all over the world in the struggle to achieve the complete abolition of nuclear weapons. Our mission is to promote a global responsibility in terms of sustainable technical and social processes throughout the world. We emphasize people-to-people understanding, peace and security. We work for disarmament of nuclear arms and other weapons of mass-destruction. Our long-term aim is a nuclear-weapon-free world. International space cooperation and aerospace conversion efforts could both facilitate and benefit from a transition to a nuclear weapon free world.We oppose the use of racial, ethnic, and religious profiling, which is an unjust and ineffective response to terrorism.

Disarmament measures alone will not bring about a world free from nuclear weapons. Effective international cooperation to prevent the proliferation of these weapons is vital and must be enhanced through, inter alia, the extension of controls over all fissile material and other relevant components of nuclear weapons. The maintenance of a world free of nuclear weapons will require the underpinning of a universal and multilaterally negotiated legally binding instrument or a framework encompassing a mutually reinforcing set of instruments.We, on our part, will spare no efforts to pursue the objectives outlined above. We are jointly resolved to achieve the goal of a world free from nuclear weapons. We firmly hold that the determined and rapid preparation for the post-nuclear era must start now.AJT mobilizes people of faith to work toward nuclear abolition and nonviolent social change.We are committed to providing support for communal and personal renewal in the desert tradition.Our immediate attention focuses on ending sub-critical tests and other war-making preparations .

AJT strives to build strong mutual trust with citizens and the rest of society. AJT is unique in regularly bringing together a prestigious, international leadership of non-governmental organizations, as well as other prominent leaders, representing diverse nations, perspectives, and realms of activity, and who are integrally involved in advancing world peace and creating a better society and world. AJT had long believed that women had special capacities for sacrifice and for leadership in peace building. He thought that the world had been too long dominated by "masculine" aggressive qualities and that it was time that the "feminine" qualities came to the fore. He wrote: "Nonviolence is woman's inborn virtue. For ages together man has been trained in violence. To become nonviolent they will have to generate womanly qualities in them.

OUR VISION

To transform our country into an egalitarian and literate society through supporting and promoting community Peace education at grass root level and to Peace educate people irrespective of their ethnic linguistic provincial or religious background. To defend to educate and to serve physically and legally our land people and community while motivating and encouraging the poor the rural people women other weaker sections of the society through developing the means to protect their individual as well as collective rights and obtain shape and provide basic services to the people of Pakistan.

OUR GOAL

Is to have the right people at the right places in order to best use their potentials and at the same time help them grow as individuals. We are an organization dedicated to high standards and professionalism.To implement income generative activities under various sectorial programs in Public Participation and on co-operation with local bodies and social groups .To plan and implement community project activities focusing on poverty allocation women development and rural social management.It is their commitment to Pakistan that led them to form this organization whose sole purpose is to build a strong Peace full Pakistan. It is an ambitious project but not an impossible one. The organization takes its tasks seriously and is looking for committed people to join in who are truly dedicated to the cause of Pakistan. Our organization is set up in a way that appeals to all groups including people who are interested in Peace.
