Beauty Tips from Life with Mary and Jane

Mary and Jane actually had a short spare moment over the summer and decided to sit and relax out by the pool together. Neither of them do not typically tan, but an occasional sun bathing session was relaxing as long as they had the adequate sunblock, etc. Mary turned over on her side to talk to Jane. As she did, she looked down at her chest and noticed something that was beginning to disturb her. She was starting to get long wrinkles or creases on her chest in between her breasts.

She told Jane: " I don't understand it! I'm not that old! And I always use sunblock on my chest! Why do I have these?"

Jane had recalled what another one of her friends had told her: "You know, I was once told that if you sleep on you side at night all the time, you may be creating that type of wrinkle."

Mary: "Oh my gosh! I ALWAYS sleep on my side! I better start trying to lie on my back to see if I notice any difference. Any other advice...while we're on the topic?"

Jane: "Well, For a cheap, at-home facial, I mix a little bit of plain yogurt and sugar to exfoliate my skin. Then, I mash up a ripe avocado and mix honey in it and wear it as a mask for a while in the mornings. It really makes my face nice and soft."

Mary: "That sounds interesting. I'm sure I could really scare my kids with that on my face.... Oh, you know what I LOVE to do? I take extra virgin coconut oil and rub it into my hair when it feels dry and I need a deep conditioning. Sometimes I just put a towel on my pillow at night and leave it in all night. I love how soft and shiny it makes my hair feel."

Jane: "Another good moisturizing tip is to take vaseline and rub it on you hands and feet at bedtime. Then put socks on to keep the moisture in. In the morning they will be very soft!"

Mary: "Oh, I have another one: when I'm done brushing my teeth, I always lightly brush my lips with the toothbrush - it helps to exfoliate my lips and makes them very sift and supple - especially when I go to kiss my husband goodnight!"

Jane: "I'll have to try that too! Now you got me thinking. I while ago, I got a book with a whole bunch of tips in it. I'm going to have to go through that again so we can exchange some more ideas....."
