E-Security or also known as CyberSecurity, is a new domain in the IT world. In real world, valuables are protected by using various means such as locks, chains, hardened physical access and even armed personnel. However, during the last decade, the business and commerce world has moved from the real "shop premises" to an Internet based one, popularly known as the Cyber World. This was intended to increase the reach beyond physical boundaries and capture border-less audience. This, however, also increased the reach of wider spectrum of anti-social elements TO these businesses. E-Security deals with protecting our Information technology depended assets from such elements. This is same as protecting our valuables from thieves and robbers in the real world, albeit using different tools. So simply put, the playground is the same, only the rules and the tools of the play have changed.
