What Cataria is

Cataria is a new technology of application creation which completely change conception of development process and runtime environment.

The general purpose of Cataria is providing full automation of business and realization all requirements in short time period (weeks or days).

We can pick out some directions of Cataria enhancement:
- Development process must be shorter and easier
- An abyss between an application and requirements definition must be removed
- Application must be built by composing real life entities
- Applications must interact to each other by entities.

How Cataria works

Cataria applications are completely declarative and consist of entities. It’s very discrepant from imperative ones. You don’t program business logic of an application you just declare it instead.

All Cataria applications execute within Cataria Runtime Environment (CRE).

There are some of CRE responsibilities:
- Manage real objects by entity declarations: creation, blocking, storing, etc.;
- Manage business processes and objects’ lifecycle;
- Generate user interface and other objects’ representation;
- Provide integration between Cataria applications, other CRE and other systems.
