- Firefighter Gary Gannon and his family have formed Jakes Team in honor of his son Jake, diagnosed with autism at the age of 18 months. The Walk for Autism Now will be held at Suffolk Downs on October 14, 2007. A benefit raffle for the charity Autism Speaks will be held August 18, 2007. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. First Prize is 2 Box Seats for Red Sox vs. Baltimore on September 1, 2007. Other prizes include a autographed Celtics Basketball, BC Football Tickets, 4 Rounds of Golf and a $100 Gift Certificate to The Capital Grille.
