Café Apollonia was started by the Hysi family, who moved to the United States almost 14 years ago from Albania. In an effort to share their passion for the unique cuisine of their country with their community, the Hysi's opened the only Albanian restaurant in Boston, Cafe Apollonia. The restaurant was designed to bring a piece of our home to your tables. Traditional Adriatic Mediterranean recipes, underlined by subtle and unique flavors are prepared only with the freshest ingredients. The menu contains a variety of dishes made of lamb, beef, pork, chicken, seafood and vegetables. What separates Albanian cuisine from others, is the specialty seasoning, the unique marinades and the slow method of cooking.
