Burtree Country Guest House

Description

Burtree has 75 acres of farmland, a lowland flock of sheep, which lamb from December. It also has an upland flock, which are brought down from the moors to lamb at Burtree. Guests are welcome to look around the sheep and lambs; volunteers for lamb feeding welcomed!

The farmyard is home to our privately owned animal feed mill, feed is produced here for farms both locally and also for wider distribution. A pre–arranged look around the mil can be organized.

We also rear baby calves for beef production on home produced feed from our mill. The babies calves love being feed by teat bottle, if you would like to participate in the feeding, please bring wellies and old clothes, because remember, they are only babies and make a mess!
