High Paradise Farm in Boltby, North Yorkshire, stands in 22 acres of grassland between the moors and the forest on the western edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It has an interesting history, some of it echoed in the names of the holiday cottages. It was built in the early 18th century and was a dairy farm until the mid 1980s. Today it operates as a smallholding rather than a farm.
We moved here fifteen years ago and have been running the holiday cottages since then. If you need help we are on hand, and if you don't need us you won't know we are here.
Situated in James Herriot country, High Paradise Farm's scenic setting changes with the season, making it an all-year-round bolt-hole for a perfect breakaway. Curiously it has a winter name - Wild Goose Nest - and is still known as such by the locals.
