Why bethlet.net?
Bethlet is the only nickname I've ever had that actually stuck. And by stuck, I mean we're approaching ten years, here. It's sort of ridiculous, but it's mine. If you come across any 'bethlet' on the web, it's most likely me.
What about this site?
This site has existed, in some form or another, since early 1997. I discovered the internet when I was a freshman at Purdue. Note that that doesn't mean that I didn't know it existed until that time, or even that I had never really messed around with it until then. In that second semester, though, I got my first computer, and my first dedicated access, and thus finally, really, had time to fool around with it. My first attempts at a webpage were a bit weak, I admit, though I am proud to admint that I never fell prey to blinking text or overuse of javascript, or music which played when the page loaded. Am I happy with what it's become today? Mostly, although, of course, there are some days when I'll tell you I'm going to pull it apart and redo it, at whim.
