- Twelve jazz legends were named on Monday, Aug. 8th to be 2005 inductees into the Nesuhi Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame. Among these prestigious musical masters are CMG Worldwide clients Ella Fitzgerald and Benjamin David, commonly known as Benny Goodman, who join fellow melodic revolutionaries such as Fats Waller and King Oliver for this posthumous honor. The ceremony will be held at Fredrick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Time Warner Center in New York City.
