Yesterday, Bridget and I were preparing to go to the store with Emma for some provisions for dinner. Emma had just woken up from a 3 and 1/2 hour nap, so she was in high spirits and ready to go “popping”. We put her sandals on and told her lets go, but she decided that it was time to go pick out our shoes. She wondered off into our closet, and first came back with Bridget’s sandals, matching no less. Both B and I were extremely impressed that she had managed to get not only the right pair of shoes, but a matching set. But she wasn’t done yet, daddy needed shoes. Now usually this means that I have to wear the dress shoes she brings me. As my dress shoes are closest to the door in the closet, she usually just picks those first. However, off she went and came back with my sandals. Clearly, she’s destined for fashion.
