- Geographically, District 5 covers some London depots and those in the east of England north of the River Thames roughly as far north as Lincolnshire, with members working for both Train Operating Companies and Freight Operating Companies.
- The name of our Trade Union dates back to 1880 and disguises our genuine commitment to equal opportunities in the railway industry since, as you would expect from a modern Trade Union, we welcome both men and women as members.
