- Joseph Conrad had once wrote "my task which I am trying to achieve is, by the power of the written word to make you hear, to make you feel-it is, before all, to make you see." With that sentiment in mind, the idea behind our web site amphoric dream dot com was born. I sincerely believe, to create a work of art worth of artistic merit, two important laws need to occur for the artist. First, the artist has to believe in the work and its existence-totally and unconditionally with an open Heart. But how could this sort of thing be possible if the artist or the medium has never produced anything of artistic merit before? Simple. It will be presented to the artist through the semblance of a dream. See most people mistrust their ability to dream, because it serves no real purpose in the "real world." But, here at amphoric dream dot com we will deal with the other worlds. The world of poetry. The world of literature. The world of music. The world of art. However, Jake and myself, we both agree that none of these worlds could ever exist without the power of Love.
