- Hello everyone,
I am Ali Ibrahim. Now working as a Software engineer at aboutus.org. About a year and a half ago i started my career as a software engineer. I have been working mostly in web 2.0 tools and technologies. So far doing job as a software engineer has been a very good experience for me. Again at job you go through different things, there are a lot of strict deadlines,some demanding clients, your managers, loads of work, new technologies (did i miss something ? ) but thats how life and job is meant to be .... isn't it ? I would regard this as a good learning experience.

Ruby On Rails
Ruby on Rails a.k.a (ROR) is one good platform for making web applications and ever since i started my professional career, i have been working in this platform. In the previous company where i worked, i had the opportunity to work on my company's most challenging projects Vator.tv (http://vator.tv). Its kind of a website for people can showcase their ideas, projects or products they have been working on.
Interests
Apart from trying to be at the cutting edge level of the latest tools and technologies, i have special aptitude for learning different algorithms, different techniques that makes the work easier for us and different tools that make your life easy. Reading different technical blogs such as [[techcrunch.com] | TechCrunch] is another thing that i love to do. In the outside world, i love to hang out with friends in the evening, go out, i do love to work out these days in the gym. Swimming in summer, exploring different restaurants, on long drives in my car is yet another thing. Listening to almost all kinds of music is another part of myself. Apart from that there is all long list which i hope to add here from time to time :)
