ACT TECHNOLOGIES was founded in 1998 to respond to the need of Louisiana's River Parishes (St. Charles, St. John The Baptist, and St. James) for a localized service company to attend to their computer needs. Up until then the business and personal computer users were primarily dependent upon the service from outside the area which caused confusion and untold delays in finding solutions and getting situations rectified in a timely manner.
