3DN Prologue

This is not philosophy. It is an understanding of the forces at work in the world that is far more accurate than what you were taught in civics class - or the one you learned in Sunday School. It is not a question of what you choose to believe. Your mental map of the world is either more accurate or less accurate - not right or wrong.
This is not about good and evil. We will not realize the kind of world in which we would like to live through the defeat of someone else. We are in truth all in this together. Every thing that exists depends on every other thing - and if we understand that, we come to understand our power to create the world we want.
This is not about being right or wrong. There are only choices and consequences. Every choice each of us makes either contributes value to the System as a Whole or dissipates value from the System as a Whole - and, in a system as large and complex as everything we know, it is hard to know whether our actions are on the whole positive or negative. We do know that we can choose to be more inclusive rather than less inclusive.
This is about producing an abundance of those basic goods and services that people need to thrive. This is about understanding that Resources are not Scarce and therefore there is no need for conflict over access to resources. This about understanding that we create the world we live in as the cumulative result of all the choices each of us makes. The world has changed and will continue to change whether we choose to take a conscious role in that or not.
This is about understanding that our choices direct the flow of value through the System as a Whole. We have the power to choose flows that increase value retained in the system or those that dissipate value. It is not about who wins or loses - it is about the connections, relationships, bonds, contracts, agreements, networks - or - bridges - that we each choose to maintain and how those direct the flow of value through the System as a Whole.
This is about understanding how these bridges function so that we can design and implement new sets of bridges that end poverty and heal nature. This is about understanding that we all have an interest in a healthy local economy and a healthy local ecosystem - and that it is within our power to create those - if we look up from our first and second dimensional networking to see how what we do fits in to the larger value flows. This is about finding a way for everyone to be able to contribute to the flow of value - from the smallest of creatures to every human being.
Most of all this is not about a set formula that will produce utopia. This is about seeing past the objects to understand the relationships. That is why each entry tries to be a short plain statement of an idea and how that idea links to other ideas. The accuracy of the statement is less important than understanding the relationship. I have no illusion that this set of statements and links is in any sense complete or completely accurate - it is my mental map of the world to the extent that I have been able to convert it to text and links.
Every one gets to make their own choices. You may choose to continue to believe that you do not have the power to change the world - but understand, that choice also has consequences.
