About Prem Rawat
Prem Rawat is a man of singular vision and clarity. He is a teacher with a core message: the peace people are looking for is already within. He has dedicated his life to the dissemination of this message and has spoken in person to millions of people on six continents.
His words are translated into many languages and are now accessible in most countries via TV broadcasts and video, in print and online. Whatever the language or the medium, the message remains the same: there is a very practical way of getting in touch with the peace that already exists within each person, and world peace begins with individual peace.
I go to different places, and I talk about peace. I know there are people who say, “Peace—how can there be peace?” What I am talking about is real, is viable, and it can last for a foreseeable future. It’s called peace. War is not a viable option and it is not foreseeable, because if people just keep fighting, there will only be one person left. And that’s because he was hiding.
So, what is this peace I talk about? The peace I talk about is the peace that resides in you, that resides in your heart. The reality of your existence is not what you think it is.
This is not about me or my ideas. I want to be the voice of those billions of silent people who pray in their own little way every day and hope silently that one day there will be peace on earth. They do not have loud voices; they’re very quiet.
Many people say, “Peace is impossible.” I say that you have your reasons why there can’t be peace, and I don’t know how many you have—five, six? I have six billion reasons why there should be peace. That’s how many people are on this earth—6.7 billion to be exact.Prem Rawat
The Pivotal Question
"Is peace a manifestation of something that happens inside a human being, or is peace something on the outside only?" Prem Rawat asks. "Where does the desire for peace come from? Is peace innate to every human being? This, in my opinion, is the pivotal question."
