The Centre is an operational service agency of the Government of Ontario, established in October 2004. It is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of a maximum of 12 members. The Centre is responsible for providing training to drinking water system operators across Ontario with a focus on smaller, remote and older systems, including First Nations systems. It also provides advisory support to Ontario's drinking water system owners, operators, and operating authorities.
