Established on the 27th of September, 1974, by Mick Vawdrey, Vawdrey initially began building truck bodies for smaller companies and owner drivers. In 1975 Russell Baker joined Mick and the two formed a strong parternship, which existed until Russell's retirement in late 2006. The 1980's saw the company grow from strength to stength, becoming a supplier to the multi-nationals.
