Vanaheim Fellowship was founded in October of 2009 as a devotional community dedicated to the honor of the Vanir Gods and practice of Vanatru - the Vanic side of Heathenry. The Vanir are the Northern European Gods of nature, and the fertility, health, and prosperity that comes with living in balance with nature. For most of the 30+ years of the Heathen revival, there has been a lot of emphasis on the Aesir Gods, namely Thor and Odin.
