Topofusion.com = GPS Mapping Software for Windows
Description
TopoFusion grew from a dissatisfaction in current mapping programs. We are two computer science grad students with a passion for the outdoors. After searching and evaluating GPS Mapping programs, we came to the conclusion that not only could things be done better, they needed to be done better. We wrote TopoFusion to fill a need. We wrote it for our own use, and hope others will find it useful too.
The program will constantly be in development as we continue to use it to log our adventures. We have many ideas on the drawing board for extensions and new features. We also welcome any suggestions. Please send us suggestions and comments!
We also wrote TopoFusion to serve as a testbed for other projects. We are interseted in online databases of trail data and have developed the trail network algorithm to fill that need.
