私どもは、ユーザー様が自由にインターネットをご利用いただける環境の提供を夢見て、1997年に岡山県でインターネット接続サービス事業（ISP：Internet Service Provider）を開始いたしました。その際、インターネットが人々の生活を豊かにする素晴らしい可能性を秘めていることから、ポリネシア神話に登場する人類創造の神である「Tiki」をサービスの名称に据え、「南の楽園のお姫さま」のイメージである「ヒナちゃん」や「INTERNET ISLAND」を会社のロゴにしました。会社設立から現在までは、大都市以外の地域でのサービスの提供に注力してまいりました。これは、インターネットを利用できる環境の整備が大都市と比べ地方都市は遅れており、私どものミッションである「ネットワークインフラの地域間格差をなくす」ことが十分に発揮できると確信しているからです。さらに、本当の意味で「誰でも、いつでも、どこでも」インターネットが利用できるよう、値ごろ感のある接続料金でサービスを提供することにも注力してまいりました。 read more
