How long did it take?
Sketchplanet evolved from a quick and dirty demo I made for an interview with the web consultancy I am currently employed by. It remained as a "demo" feature on my blog, until I decided to make Sketchplanet into a website of it's own in September 2005. This "complete" version of Sketchplanet - with registration, tags, search, my page etc - took about 2 weeks to build.
Where did you get the idea for Sketchplanet?
The original Sketchplanet (known as "Yongfook's Print Club") was created to prove a hypothesis of mine; let people draw something anonymously and nine times out of ten it will be a picture of a penis.
