Years of Service Dennis W. Hollingsworth joined the St. Johns County Tax Collector’s Office in 1978 as a field inspector and title clerk. He was elected St. Johns County Tax Collector in 1984, and has had the honor to serve as Tax Collector since that time.Expansion of Services Since Mr. Hollingsworth started working at the Tax Collector’s Office in 1978, the office now incorporates the Division of Driver License for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
