In the mid 1980’s – prior to September 11th 2001 - the legendary real estate developer Bernie Mendick had a vision to create a secure building environment, free from the risks of unchecked messengers and other potential human threats. This vision was made a reality when SBM developed the first Package Intercept/Messenger Center in New York City in a Mendick owned building located at 330 Madison Avenue. Thefts, vandalism and assaults were instantly eliminated.
