Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is a research university located in Troy, New York, offering undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs across roughly 60 fields, including applied physics, astronomy, and engineering. It serves undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, and related disciplines. Founded more than two centuries ago, RPI is one of the oldest technological universities in the United States.
